You don’t become an ICAgile Expert in Agile Coaching after a quickfire 3-day class but you can after a 6-month intense learning experience focusing on real-world application and peer support.

This programme delivered through one of our trusted partners builds on your current knowledge and experience as an agile coach and helps you reflect on where you want to go next in your agile coaching journey.  We believe agile coaching is an emergent craft and is improved by practical application with clean feedback, Inspect and Adapt.

Unlike other Expert programs not only will you receive the coveted ICAgile Agile coaching Expert designation but FOUR more other industry recognised certifications along the way from not only ICAgile Agile Coaching Experts but Scrum Alliance Certified Coaches.

Yes, that's right FOUR more certifications. This is why you can be assured that this programme meets industry standards for improving your Agile Coaching capability to an expert level. As these capabilities have been approved by several different registry organisations.

To hear from some current ICAgile Agile Coaching experts and the difference it made to them you might find this short video insightful: https://youtu.be/KRfmrH1_9JE.

what will you learn?

Rickard Jones Training

The program explores four core competencies of your agile coaching capability whilst keeping a focus on the agile principles and how to integrate them all together.

Teaching - Learn from a Scrum Alliance CST how using the latest proven learning and development techniques from the approach known as Training from the BACK of the Room! will help you further embed agile practices with your learners in a way that sticks. You will also take part in a Certified LeSS Basics training class. Gaining the rare knowledge on how to Descale Agile as opposed to scaling up, doing LeSS!

Before finally practically teaching a concept you learned from the class.

Facilitating - You will explore how to plan your facilitation sessions using a number of different approaches as well as taking part in a facilitation dojo to sharpen your facilitation skills through a practice and feedback loop like no other at the end of the dojo you will receive your well earned ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) certification.

Mentoring - You will learn what makes an awesome mentor by giving and receiving mentorship throughout the program. Mentoring also includes how to support teams through complex situations including conflict. You will also gain the brand new ‘Clean for Agile Teams’ certification from a Clean Learning course, Caitlin Walker's company the creator of Systemic Modelling.

The Clean for Agile Teams’ course has been specially designed for this and only this Expert program. Only the trainers on this program are able to deliver it. Currently, it’s unique to this program and it’s included for free!

Coaching - You will learn the art of Professional Coaching from ICF Certified Coaches. Competencies that you will develop and enhance will include Active Listening, Powerful Questions, Emotional Intelligence, Presence and Clean Feedback. You will also have access to your peers in Agile Coaching as part of Agile Affinity Academy, with fortnightly Coaching Circles to support your journey to becoming an Agile Coaching Expert.

Integration - The skill of an Agile Coach is not in the separate competencies but having the agility to know when to use what approach. During the final few months of the program, you will continue exploring your own agile coaching stance along with digging deeper into when to use each of your new-found skills.

And there is more. If you have the Certified ScrumMaster accreditation from the Scrum Alliance, you will also be able to achieve your Scrum Alliance A-CSM accreditation during this period of the program. Once again included for free at no extra cost!

FAQ

Q: So, let me get this straight at the end of the program, I could get four new certs if I do all the work?

A: Better, you could get 5 certs!

As follows: ICAgile Professional - Agile Team Facilitation (ATF), Clean for Agile Teams (Clean-AT), Certified LeSS Basics (CLB), Scrum Alliance Advanced ScrumMaster (A-CSM) and of course the firth and final cert ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE) acknowledging you as an expert in the field of Agile Coaching.

Q: Are all these five certs included in the price?

A: Yes they are all included in the one overall price. However, remember you have to actually do the work to earn them. Especially the Expert certification. This is no quick journey, it’s the opposite, it will take 6 months minimum to collect them all.

Q: I love the program, but the price is larger than most courses, can I pay in instalments?

A: Unfortunately not, we cannot take instalments at this time due to the number of courses you get for free. The real question is can you afford to wait? Especially as you delay your peers get recognised for their expertise in Agile Coaching.

Q: When do I get these certs? At the end of the whole 6 months?

A: They are issued to you as you immediately earn them as you go along on the program. No waiting till the end, product increment delivered again and again. Should you decide to pause your program (life can take over), then the certs you have earned are yours, until you wish to start it up again.

Q: What’s the catch? Why such a great offering?

A: We have a mission, to professionalise the world of Agile Coaching. This program helps us support that mission in a way we could never have imagined before. We want to catalyse as many Expert Agile Coaches as possible. Others may charge more, but are they really dedicated to their passion for Agile Coaching as we and you are?

Q: What happens if I have missed a module month (with course) after just joining the program?

A: As this program is a rolling program you can join almost anytime. There is just the integration module timeline you cannot join as you won’t have enough learnings to integrate everything together. However don’t be held back by timelines, be Agile, reach out and talk to us and we can have a conversation. We are to help make it work for you.

Q: Is there a retreat that I might have to attend?

A: No retreats, we want you to coach your learnings in the field, real practical work experience not retreats away from the real world.

If you have any questions about the program then please still apply and we can discuss further in the application call or email info.uk@ripple-rock.com.
